What we are building.

SpawnDroid is in early access. Short notes on what changed in the console, the hosted runners, the device host and this site. Newest first.

  1. Clearer about how Android runs here

    • Android runs in the cloud on ARM64, with no emulator in the path. The site now says that directly, and a new FAQ answers whether it is a physical phone.
    • Added a short Trust section covering one isolated session per run, private builds, scoped API keys and bounded retention.
    • Pricing leads with the Free plan, the only tier open during early access.
  2. Runs, and a faster console

    • Runs are grouped by artifact, with a status filter and a linkable detail page for every execution.
    • One-click automated test: start a hosted Appium runner for an artifact without leaving the console.
    • Console reads are bounded to the rows on screen, and live polling pauses in background tabs.
    • Device host: hardened containers, healthchecks, capped logs, and a fix so a stuck container can never steal a port from a new session.
    • Canonical URLs match the served trailing-slash URLs, with a docs sitemap and robots rules.
  3. CI recordings, storage, and a new console

    • CI executions are recorded end to end and the mp4 is retained alongside the final logcat.
    • App icons moved to object storage: icons load from a cacheable URL instead of being inlined into every payload.
    • Streaming minutes are gone. Concurrency, not time, is the only limit.
    • API keys and settings rebuilt as denser, table-first pages.
    • CI accepts a slug or an id as the artifact id, and runs are ghost-proof when a pipeline dies mid-run.
